Meet Dr. Parikh

Amish M. Parikh, M.D. - F.A.C.C.


Dr. Parikh, a Central Florida native and University of Miami alumni, attended medical school at the University of South Florida. He completed his residency at Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital and his Cardiology Fellowship at University of Florida-Shands Hospital in Jacksonville.  Dr. Parikh serves as  a member of the Florida Medical Association and is also a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease as well as by the American College of Radiology in Nuclear Medicine. He is a highly experienced Cardiologist and has been practicing Cardiology in Central Florida since 2000. In addition to this, he also enjoys privileges at both Orlando Health and Florida Hospital systems.


Blending his expertise and talents in heart-care,  Dr. Parikh is honored to serve and support the Central Florida community.

Giving Back


Dr. Parikh considers providing meaningful, significant and consistent service to his community, a vital responsibility for himself, his family and his practice. He serves on the Boards of the Orange County Medical Society and A Gift for Teaching.  Under his long term leadership and involvement with both Central Florida Association of Physicians from the Indian Subcontinent (CAPI) and the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI) rose to new levels when he served as the Convention Chair for the 33rd AAPI Convention and Scientific Assembly held in Orlando in June 2015.

His service to the Indian American Chamber of Commerce, scales new heights each year as he leads a team in the production and promotion of Orlando's official India Day Celebration, called “The Best Heritage Night in the NBA” by the Orlando Magic.
